CHURCHILL KIDS CHOIR
Performing Arts of Churchill County is pleased to announce the Churchill Kids Choir 2024!  The Churchill Kids Choir seeks to develop the love of singing in children.  Students will learn about breathe support, pitch matching, and techniques to improve both solo and ensemble singing.  There is no audition required for the CKC - the Choir is open to all interested students currently enrolled in 3rd through 8th grade.

The Churchill Kids Choir is under the direction of long-time Churchill County music educator Tom Fleming and accompanist Noreen Swenson.

WHO:  Children in Grades 3 through 8
WHEN:  Tuesday Nights from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.
September 17th through December 10th.
There will be additional Thursday rehearsals (4:15 - 5:30 p.m.) for students chosen
for special parts in the performance of The Christmas Carol (beginning in September)
and also for the whole choir (beginning mid October) as the performance of "The Christmas Carol" draws near.

IS THERE A COST?
There will be a $30.00 per child participation fee payable annually.  The payment is due by 3rd rehearsal that a child attends. 
The participation fee will cover the cost of performance shirts, folders, and music.

ARE THERE PERFORMANCES?
PERFORMANCES:  This year our Churchill Kids Choir will only be rehearsing September through December. 
​We will be working on a mini-musical, "The Christmas Carol", and our main performance will be the evening of December 10th at Numa Elementary School.  
 
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE FIRST REHEARSAL?
 Students may bring a filled water bottle marked with their name. 
There are also water fountains available at Numa.
 
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is closed for the 2024 season. Please check back next Summer for registration for the 2025 season.

Be on time and come with a great attitude!
